We want to express our appreciation and sincere thanks for having interest in joining our family. Please read through this page before submitting a request to join.
Here at S.P.I.A., we have a tight nit family environment. Our investigators must ALL have a positive click with one another. This is the most important trait we are looking for in our investigative members. All supporting members, i.e. analysists, researchers, editors, technical support etc., even though aren't investigating, and don't need to have that tight click per say, must still have respect, dignity and strong working values with the investigators.
How we conduct our selection process is we;

2nd, Schedule a face to face interview with some of the core members.*

This is a two way dialog. We are interviewing you, and you are interviewing us.

3rd, We will invite you to a public investigation and observe how you and the other members click.*

Be yourself. We are not looking for a super hero ghost hunter.

Depending, we may assess this over numerous investigations before deciding to invite you on as a member.

4th, If we make an offer to you for membership on our team, you must submit all required forms prior to being considered a member.**

* If at anytime, a current member of our team is not in agreement with the person coming to the team, the person will be immediately denied membership. It takes a unanimous agreement with all members for membership to be approved.
** If the person is in refusal to submit any member form for any reason, membership will be immediately denied.

Terms of Joining

We require each of our members to be at least 18 years of age and be a U.S. citizen.

Children of members age 17 and under must be accompanied by the parent or guardian member and a release of liability form must be signed before the child will be allowed to accompany. Children under 13 must be approved by team management.

You will be required to submit a personal contact form, a medical emergency form sealed in an envelope (Given sealed to medical staff in case of an emergency), release of liability form and a consent to publication form.

Should you be accepted to our team, you will come in at entry level. Stage 1, Level 1 (Probationary Member), unless otherwise agreed upon by the teams management staff to bring a member in at a higher level.

The term that a member spends in each level is determined on a case by case basis. The two factors that will always be used but limited to are the members personal progress in the team and their knowledge, and availability in the next level.

All members joining S.P.I.A. Must not be under the influence of, or use alcoholic beverages of any amount, Illegal substances (Including Marijuana), or prescription narcotics that would affect your judgement or cause impairment of any kind.

All members must keep respect for all locations that we visit, including open area ruins and in the middle of nowhere pioneer cemeteries. Respect will also be maintained for our clients and their property and possessions, our associates, our members, and spirits.

It's ok to have fun on some investigations, but horseplay is not tolerated on any. Use good judgement when it comes to having fun.

We do not require you have any experience in investigating the paranormal nor do we require you to believe in the paranormal. We do have both skeptics and believers and a mix of both on our team. However, if you do have some experience this is ok too. We require you to respect and be open to individual views, idealisms, methodology and techniques. This adds diversity to our team and is welcomed.

We require our core team to have a click. We mesh well and we work well together. Not indicating a person to have a lack of abilities or knowledge, but if we find that a person is not a fit for the team, we will sever relations and respectfully part ways with that individual.

We are not the famed Ghost Hunters or Ghost Adventures. Although witnessing and capturing evidence is a rush and can be quite exhilarating, We are here to help our paranormal brothers and sisters, and the people as well as the small businesses of the communities we come in contact with. We are here to teach, mentor, and help learn about the paranormal. What it is. How it is. Why it is. And how to deal with it. We do not welcome Rambo stunts or an aggressive manner of approach when dealing with the paranormal. You can sternly get a point across without tormenting spirits or calling something out carelessly.
